What is carbonic acid shampoo?

The carbonic acid shampoo is an excellent product that has the ability to get rid of all the clogging agents typically found on the surface of the scalp, due to oil, dirt, and pollution to name a few. The carbonic acid shampoo improves blood circulation and keeps your scalp clean and nourished – all while bringing dead pores back to life. In short, it creates the perfect environment for healthy hair growth.

No. There are no known side effects. There is no prescription required and it is a natural source formula!

How to use carbonic acid shampoo and conditioner?


Step 1: Wash with lukewarm waterFirst, wet all your hair thoroughly with lukewarm water to rinse the surface dirt out of your hair. This will help remove some of the dirt!

Step 2: Apply Fortero Carbonic Acid ShampooThis is where Fortero comes into action! Make sure you give it a good shake before you use it! After shaking, hold the bottle upward, and put some foam on your hands – about the size of two golf balls. This amount should be enough to remove dirt!

Step 3: Gently wash your scalpThis is the most important part! Gently massage your scalp with FORTERO's super dense foam and then wash it off. This will allow the foam to penetrate deep into your pores and remove all the dirt! Finally, rinse the foam off thoroughly with lukewarm water and you're good to go!


Step 1: Apply Fortero Conditioner.Pour a bit of conditioner into the palm of your hand – a dime-sized amount is usually recommended. Run this through the mid-shafts of your hair, trying to apply it to every strand that you’re able. Work the conditioner toward the ends of your hair, as this is the part that is damaged!

Step 2: Let the conditioner setThis step is slightly optional; the longer you wait and allow your conditioner to set, the more it will be able to do to improve the health of your hair. If you’re in a rush, you can rinse it out nearly immediately after, but it won’t make your hair as soft and shiny as it normally would.

Step 3: Rinse out the conditionerSpend a few minutes rinsing out the conditioner with lukewarm water; if your hair still feels ‘slimy’, then you haven’t gotten it all out. When your hair is smooth and no longer feels super slippery, then you’re set!

How often should I wash my hair?

Your hair washing routine should be closely related to your hair type, greasiness, sebum level, and even environmental conditions. However, when using Minoxidil or finasteride, it’s recommended to wash your hair every day. Minoxidil and finasteride should be applied on a clean scalp to work properly.

What hair type is fortero for?

We have formulated our shampoos and conditioners for all hair types! And our shampoos and conditioners are free of harmful chemicals, so there is no need to worry about side effects.

How long will my products last

The shampoo holds 5.3 oz of product. And the conditioner contains 4.2 oz of product. If you are washing your hair every day, the shampoo and conditioner should last you approximately one month.

Can women use carbonic acid shampoo?

The carbonic acid shampoo is suitable for both men and women, as it acts as an effective means to prevent hair aging and repair damaged and chemically-treated hair. The carbonic acid shampoo is suitable for all hair types. It can unclog pores, clean the scalp efficiently, lessen excess sebum production, promote hair growth, improve the texture, and retain moisture keep the hair healthy and glossy.

What payment methods do you accept?

We have a variety of payment methods to accommodate our customers. At the moment, for Fortero subscriptions, we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, and JCB. Alternatively, for other Fortero products, we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, JCB, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

How long does it take for Fortero products to arrive?

In order to safely and soundly deliver your order, in-stock products are normally shipped within 2 business days after you place your order. It usually takes an additional 2-7 business days for you to receive the package, depending upon the destination. We promise to deliver your order as soon as possible, but due to the packaging requirements necessary to maintain the extremely high carbon dioxide concentration of 8,000 ppm, we use an “aerosol can” to contain the shampoo. Unlike normal plastic containers, this is classified as “dangerous goods,” therefore it can only be shipped by land transport. For this reason, delivery times may vary by season and can be longer. Currently we are shipping to the continental lower 48 states.

Where is my shipment?

To inform you of the status of your shipment, we send a confirmation email with the tracking information as soon as we ship your products. Why is my order being returned to the sender?

Orders which do not have a proper address or if we are unable to deliver to your location, will be returned to the sender. It is recommended that you check the delivery address by logging into your account page. If you have entered the address correctly, and your package is returned, please reach out to our support team at to have your order re-shipped.

What are the shipping costs?

Our shipping fee is $7.99. We offer free shipment for some of our products, don’t forget to check them out.

What shipping method do you use?

At the moment, we are using DHL SmartMail Parcel Ground or USPS to ship FORTERO products. These shipping methods may be changed or updated at any time without advance notice.

Can I update the address on an order that has already shipped?

Does fortero ship to my state/country?

Currently, we are able to ship to the continental lower 48 states only. We are not able to ship to P.O. Boxes, APO, and FPO, nor Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, or overseas.

There is no need to worry if you face any problems with the order, we are here to accommodate our customers. If you received a product that is defective or damaged, you can request an exchange or replacement product. Do you offer international shipping?

We do not offer international shipping. We apologize for any inconvenience this may  cause. We are constantly evaluating our shipping options and may expand to international shipping in the future. However, our products are available in Australia and Canada as well.

Can I ship to a different address from my billing address?

Yes, we do offer the option to ship to a different address from your billing address. During the checkout process, you can enter a separate shipping address if you wish to have your order shipped to a different location.
